The project comprises the construction of a new 6-storey 179 bed student accommodation block at Cardiff University's Tal-y-bont Campus site, together with associated access roads, car parking, drainage and landscaping.

The scope of services provided by RVW Consulting includes technical advice relating to the design of substructures, superstructure, drainage, earthworks, external works and production of a Flood Consequence Assessment and Drainage Strategy Statement to support a current planning application for the project.

The project was delivered under a design and build contract during 2012/13.
