Demolition commenced on Marland House to make way for Cardiff's new bus interchange.

14 July 2016

Marland house and the adjacent NCP car park close to Cardiff’s Central Train Station are set for demolition to make way for a new bus depot as part of Cardiff’s new bus interchange development.

RVW were recently instructed by Cardiff Demolition LTD to prepare a pre-demolition report for the Marland House building situated opposite the front entrance of Cardiff Central Train Station. The visual inspection of the building envelope was carried out both externally and internally.

Marland House is a mixture of one to seven storeys and is a completely detached structure situated between the NCP car park and what was the existing bus depot. The existing buildings primary use was a mixture of commercial outlets at ground floor with office space at first floor and above.
